(1) Updating your name, address or contact details:

Changes to one profile will impact all other profiles. You will not need to make the update twice.

To change your name, address or contact details, in Scoot's payroll system follow these steps:

  1. Log into ADP here

  2. On the main page there are some options in the top banner. Click Myself

  3. Then My Information

  4. Then Profile

  5. You will see a ‘View more’ button next to your Personal Info, Work Info and Pay Info. This is where you will be able to adjust your information

(2) Updating your direct deposit information

Changes to one profile will NOT impact all other profiles. You will need to make the update under all Position IDs to ensure you will be paid in a timely fashion to the desired account.

How to edit, add, remove direct deposit details:

  1. From the ADP WFN homepage, click the "Payment Options" link.

Then:

Click the position ID arrow and choose the position ID you would want to update. To verify the position you’re editing, reference the blue Position ID.

As previously mentioned, All PERA shifts will be paid out under the position ID that begins with ‘CX39’ while all Non-PERA shifts will be paid out under a position ID that begins with either ‘CX30’ or ‘CX31’.

  1. On the left hand side of the Payment Options page you’ll see your direct deposit details. Click the ‘Add bank account’ or ‘Edit’ button to review your information and confirm they’re correct.

  2. If you choose to, you may edit your current direct deposit details or add a new account from this Payment Options page.

(3) Updating tax withholding information

All of Scoot's teachers are W-2 employees which means our payroll provider will withhold tax from your pay. This way you don't get stuck with a large tax bill when you file your tax returns each year.

Your withholding settings are controlled by your selections on your W-4 form which is an IRS form you would have completed when you created your account on Scoot's payroll system; ADP Workforce Now.

Changes to one profile’s withholdings will NOT impact all other profiles. You will need to make the update under all Position IDs to ensure you are taxed accurately.

Calculating your withholding settings:

You can use this IRS Tax Withholding Estimator to learn the most appropriate W-4 settings for you.

This article is an additional resource with a good explanation of the W-4 form.

Alternatively, speak to a tax professional to guide you on the correct W-4 settings.

Creating or updating your W-4 withholding settings:

Follow these steps to create or update your W-4 withholding settings:

  1. From the top menu, select Myself > Pay > Tax Withholdings

  2. Choose the Position ID you want to start or edit

4. Under Federal, select Start or Edit

5. Complete each step and press Next to progress

6. At the last stage, you'll be presented with your new W-4 and you can press Done to apply the new withholding settings

7. Repeat these steps to update your other Position ID’s withholding settings
