As a precaution to keep you, other teachers, and students safe from COVID-19 many schools are requiring weekly negative COVID-19 test results as a work requirement.

Scoot has made it easy for you to share your test results with us via website or smartphone.

Testing schedule and reminders:

Unless you opt-out (see below) you will be prompted to upload a test result according to the following schedule:

  • Negative test results are valid for 7 days following the date of testing

    • For example, if you took a test on 1/1/2021, this test will allow you to work until 1/7/2021 before a new negative test is needed

  • Scoot will automatically email you a reminder to upload a new test three days before your current test expires

    • Using our previous example, if you received a negative test result on 1/1/2021, Scoot will email you on 1/4/2021 to upload a new test before 1/7/2021

  • Scoot will then email you daily to upload a new test result and you will not be offered work at any school which requires weekly testing

Many of our school partners offer convenient on-site testing. The test results are commonly automatically shared with the school but you must also share these results with Scoot via the following instructions.

How to upload your test results:

Uploading your test results is easy and takes less than 30 seconds.

Instructions for uploading a test result following an email reminder:

  1. When your latest test is approaching expiration, Scoot will send an email with the subject line "Time to get COVID-19 tested". The email looks like this:

  2. Open the link in the email to upload your new test result

  3. After you open the link, you will see a screen that looks like this:

  4. Select the date of the COVID-19 test result you're uploading

    1. Note: This is the date the test was taken, not when the result was provided

  5. Drag and drop the test result file into the upload area or click the hyperlink to select a file to upload

    1. If you're on a smartphone, you will be given the option to use your phone's camera to take a photo of the test result

  6. Press Upload

  7. You'll be prompted to confirm the file is legible. If it is, press Continue

  8. That's it! You're all done πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰

How to opt-out of email reminders

You can opt-out of automated email reminders for COVID-19 test results by following the below link but not having a valid test will significantly limit the work offered to you and may result in no working being offered.
