How do I set my reoccurring and daily availability?

Setting your availability via Scoot 2 Work helps us offer you shifts only when you're free.

Let Scoot know which days you’re available or not available to teach. Scoot will not contact you on days that you’ve set "Not Available."

By default, you're marked as available everyday so you only need to change the days when you have no or partial availability.

  1. Log into Scoot2Work via browser or smartphone app.

  2. Select "My Availability" from the side bar menu.

  3. Select whether you want to change your ongoing/reoccurring availability or upcoming availability.

  4. “Ongoing Availability” lets us know when you’re consistently free or not free. Note that selecting a day in this window selects the entire day - morning, afternoon, and evening. If you wish to indicate your status by specific hours, please use the “Upcoming Availability” window.

  5. “Upcoming Availability” provides a calendar view where you can choose the day(s) to select "Available," "Not Available," or "Set by Hours" (yellow) if you’re partially available in the toolbar below the calendar.

    1. Note that in the lower right corner of the toolbar, there is a toggle option that allows you to switch between “Multi-select,” selecting separate days one by one, or “Range-select,” easily selecting a range.

    2. If you’re trying to edit only 1 day, please make sure that you toggled “Multi-select.”

Mobile:

  1. Select "Availability" from the bottom bar menu.

  2. Select whether you want to change your ongoing/reoccurring availability or upcoming availability.

  3. “Ongoing Availability” lets us know when you’re consistently free or not free. Note that selecting a day in this window selects the entire day - morning, afternoon, and evening. If you wish to indicate your status by specific hours, please use the “Upcoming Availability” window.

  4. “Upcoming Availability” provides a calendar view where you can choose the day(s) to select "Available," "Not Available," or "Set by Hours" (yellow) if you’re partially available in the toolbar below the calendar.

    1. Note that in the upper right corner of the screen, there is a toggle option that allows you to turn “range selection” on and off. So you can select separate days one by one or select a range.

    2. If you’re trying to edit only 1 day, please make sure that you select Confirm to disable “range selection”

    3. If you’re trying to edit multiple days, please make sure that you select Confirm to enable “range selection”
