In DC, clearance for youth workers must be renewed every 2 years.
If you receive an email from our team advising you will need to renew your clearance, please follow the steps below. We recommend submitting your request to CFSA as soon as possible to prevent delays in employment as results can take up to three weeks.
Please complete the following steps:

Click the "Create New Application" button at the bottom left of your screen
Complete the “Reason for CPR Check” and "Requestor Information" exactly as you see in the example below. If this section is not completed accurately, we will not receive your results
Upload a PDF, JPEG, or other version of your ID with the application directly and then click “Submit” (see example below)
Lastly, please send evidence (a screenshot is acceptable) of your CPR confirmation to your education consultant.
