Before You Begin
Before starting your I-9, make sure you have:
A valid, unexpired identity document, such as a driver's license or U.S. passport.
A clear photo or scan of your document. You can use your phone to take a picture or a free scanning app like Google Drive or Adobe Scan.
If you're unsure which documents are accepted, review the list of acceptable documents on the USCIS website.
What to Expect
There are 2 simple steps to complete your I-9.
Step 1
Enter your information and upload a photo or scan of your identity document(s).
Step 2

Your Authorized Representative must:
Be physically with you during this step.
Have a smartphone available to scan the QR code and verify your documents.
