Scoot2Work will now send push notifications through the app instead of text messages for certain updates.

When Will You Receive Push Notifications?

You’ll get push notifications when:

  • You’ve been confirmed into a shift.

  • You’ve been placed in a tentative shift

All other updates will still come via text. You will only receive push notifications if these are enabled through your device settings.

How Do I Enable Push Notifications?

  • Push notifications are managed through your device settings.

  • You selected preferences when first downloading the app—these remain unless manually changed.

  • To receive push notifications, make sure they’re enabled both in the Scoot2Work app and on your device.

Can I Opt In or Out?

Yes! You control your notification preferences:

  • Opt in by enabling push notifications on your device.

  • Opt out by disabling them—texts and emails will continue for all updates.

Quick Tips

  • If you’re not receiving push notifications, double-check your device settings.

  • Staying opted in ensures faster updates and fewer missed shifts.

  • You will still receive an email notification along with the push notification.

Push notifications are only available to app users—if you’re not using the app, you’ll continue receiving texts.
