Below are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Head to the IdentoGo Website to get started.
Once you click that link, you should see the correct code at the top of the page (14ZGR7 - New York Dept of Education - Employee). This means you’re in the right place, and will ensure your fingerprints are shared with the NYSED. If this code specifically is not used, we will not receive results for clearance.
2. Click the top link ‘Schedule or Manage Appointment’.
3. Read the Privacy Statement and then click the ‘Next’ button in the bottom right corner.
4. On the Essential Info screen, enter the required information into the available fields. All mandatory fields are marked with a red asterisk. Once complete, click ‘Next’ in the bottom right hand corner.
5. On the Personal Questions screen, click either ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ for each question. Type any additional information required by your answers. Click ‘No’ for an authorization code and then click ‘Next’ in the bottom right hand corner.
6. On the Personal Info screen, enter the required information into the available fields. Once complete, click ‘Next’ in the bottom right hand corner.
7. On the Address screen, enter the required information into the available fields. Once complete, click ‘Next’ in the bottom right hand corner.
8. On the Documents screen, choose what form of identification you will bring to your fingerprinting appointment – drivers license or passport is most common. Answer the required question under the drop-down menu. Once complete, click ‘Next’ in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
9. On the Location screen, enter your Zip code or city and state and click ‘Search’ to find your closest fingerprinting location.
10. Once you choose an office location, select a date and time for your appointment, then click ‘Submit’.
The total cost of this appointment is approximately $100. You may be given the option to pay online, but if not be prepared to pay at your appointment. Please keep the receipt to upload so we can reimburse you for this expense.
Day of your fingerprint appointment
Bring the same government-issued identification you stated when you were signing up for the appointment.
Be prepared to pay approximately $100 if you have not already pre-paid.
At the conclusion of your appointment, the agent will provide you with an IdentoGo receipt stating that you were fingerprinted. Please remember to keep your receipt in order to upload for reimbursement.

Scoot reimburses up to $100 for your fingerprinting. Reimbursement is added to your first paycheck after your training shift has been completed.
